Waterproofing and Sealing Construction Joints and Expansion Joints

Construction joints and expansion joints can form weak-points in any waterproofing system. For this reason, Safeguard supply several products from the Vandex range designed to offer additional protection in these vulnerable areas:

• Vandex Expaseal B Plus expanding waterstop offers the most conventional method of sealing construction joints.
• Vandex Construction Joint Tape offers a more novel approach to the problem. The product is simply applied over the construction joint with Vandex BB75E used as an adhesive/waterproofer.
• Vandex Flextape is the favoured solution where expansion joints or movement joints need to be sealed.
• Vandex Uniflex Sealants / Adhesives - used as adhesives for Vandex Expaseal B Plus and Vandex Flextape, but also have sealing applications in their own right.
