Vandex products have applications in refurbishing existing reservoirs / water tanks as well as waterproofing newbuild constructions. In refurbishment applications, a variation of the Vandex CRS Concrete Repair System (incorporating Vandex Unimortar 1 as a repair mortar) can be used to provide a sound substrate. A waterproof coating such as Vandex Unimortar 1 and/or Vandex BB75 is then applied. The diagram below shows a typical detail for the refurbishment of a water treatment plant:
