Basement Conversions - New UK Case Studies

12th October 2005 - Two new case studies featuring basement conversions have been added to our website. Both case studies feature the use of the Oldroyd Xv cavity drainage membrane system to provde waterproofing:

1) Basement conversion at seaside hotel - This case study illustrates the benefits of basement conversions in commercial premises. Relocation of the hotel bar to the basement allowed a large increase in hotel dining capacity.

2) Basement conversion at mid-terraced house - A good example of how the space provided by basement conversions can be utilised. A sauna, wet room and additional living room were constructed in a large cellar beneath a Victorian property. A light well was constructed to provide natural light in the basement area.
