Safeguard Wins Export Award

25th March 2006 - Safeguard Europe was the Sussex winner at the South East region's first ever Passport to Export Awards ceremony at Wentworth Golf Club in Surrey last night - to celebrate the most successful firms on UK Trade & Investment's Passport to Export initiative.

Since joining the scheme in 2003 Safeguard's export sales have increased to over £250,000. On receiving the award, Safeguard's Managing Director, David Lambert said, "this is a huge honour for us and recognises the hard work the whole company has put in over the last few years. Winning business overseas is always tough but the Passport to Export initiative has been vital in developing a successful and robust overseas strategy and doing business with the key players in our industry."

The award was presented by International Trade Director Lewis Scott and Coffee Republic founder Sahar Hashemi.
