Vandex Expaseal B Plus Expanding Waterstop
Safeguard Europe Ltd distribute the Vandex B Plus expanding waterstop. Vandex Expaseal B Plus waterstop is suitable for all construction joints subject to hydrostatic pressure. All joints to be waterproofed with Vandex Expaseal B Plus waterstop must be clean and free of surface water and sharp protrusions. The installation of Vandex Expaseal B Plus waterstop can be carried out on damp surfaces. Vandex Expaseal B Plus waterstops is resistant to most form release products.
For joint widths of 20-40cm Vandex Expaseal waterstop is fixed in the middle of the joint. As a precaution, thicker walls can be fitted with two Vandex Expaseal B Plus waterstops. Vandex Expaseal B Plus waterstop is set into the joint with Vandex Uniflex Adhesive or mechanically fixed in the construction with nails (4-5 per linear metre). Consult Safeguard Europe Ltd technical literature for details. Safeguard Europe Ltd can also provide a design and specification service and it is recommended that they are consulted early in the design process.
