New Vandex Practical Training Courses
– Safeguard are pleased to introduce a new practical training course for our Vandex cementitious waterproofing range.
As with all cementitious waterproofing systems, correct surface preparation, mixing, application and curing are all essential elements in ensuring the installation of a successful waterproofing system. The course covers all of these aspects as well as giving practical guidance on the correct methods for dealing with construction joints and incoming pipes and services. - Areas of use
- Surface preparation
- Mixing
- Application (brush, spray, trowel)
- Curing
- Construction joints
- Sealing around pipes and services
- Practical hints and tips for successful waterproofing
Lunch, tea and coffee are provided on both days. Attendees will be issued with an information pack as well as a certificate of attendance.
The one-day course is priced at £140 plus VAT per attendee (£164.50 inc. VAT). If the course is booked at the same time as our Oldroyd cavity drainage membrane practical application course the price is £230 plus VAT for both days (£270.25 inc. VAT) – a saving of £50 + VAT.

Vandex Practical Training:
Friday 23rd September, Wednesday 26th October, Wednesday 23rd November, Wednesday 14th December.
Oldroyd Practical Training:
Thursday 22nd September, Thursday 27th October, Thursday 24th November, Thursday 15th December.
Both courses are held at our warehouse in Horsham, West Sussex.
