Hours

4 days on / 4 days off on a rotating basis. 

6am–6pm with 1-hour lunch break.

Job Description

Safeguard Europe is looking for a motivated and diligent Production & Dispatch Operative to work cross functionally within our warehouse. The successful applicant should have a teamwork mindset and a get-go attitude. The right candidate should be able and willing to ensure the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse materials, goods and products along with production, labelling and packaging of products in a timely manner. They should also comply with health and safety regulations, as well as having awareness and sound judgement about the surrounding work environment. Prior experience within a similar environment is highly desirable. 

Duties 

  • Order processing
  • Picking and packing
  • Booking parcels onto carrier dispatch systems
  • Goods in and goods out
  • Vehicle loading and unloading
  • General housekeeping duties
  • Stock movement and rotation
  • Stock re-labelling

Skills and Experience Required 

  • Previous warehouse / dispatch experience
  • Picking / packing experience 
  • Forklift licence (desirable) 
  • Experience working with couriers (desirable) 
  • Manual handling
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to understand technical aspects and function of building materials
  • Ability to relay technical information in a positive and supportive way
  • Familiar with CRM Systems
  • Attention to detail
