Job Description

Safeguard Europe is looking for a self-motivated Sales Executive to join their sales team. The successful applicant should be driven by results and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The right candidate should be able and willing to assimilate knowledge of Safeguard Europe’s product range, areas of application and competitive landscape. Extensive training on our products and their application will be provided.

Duties

  • At least 50% of this role will be cold calling and outbound calls to both new and existing customers to increase our client base and increase product sales to achieve set KPIs and revenue targets. 
  • 50% of this role will be building and maintaining effective and successful relationships once clients are on board. 
  • Following up leads generated by the office team as well as quotes created through sales activity in a timely fashion.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with both internal and external contacts. Utilise relationships to increase sales and productivity. 
  • Researching organisations and individuals to find new opportunities. Use online resources such as LinkedIn, Google, Companies House and Facebook to target and win business. 
  • Increasing the value of current customers by actively upselling and introducing them to the wider product range.
  • Increase revenue and achieve daily, weekly, monthly and annual sales targets. 
  • Working with Marketing to plan and oversee new business development initiatives.
  • Liaising and working effectively with the sales manager and team to ensure customer service standards are met and exceeded. 

Skills / Experience required

  • Strong sales experience with a proven track record. 
  • Strong admin skills and IT fluency.
  • Proficient in CRM.
  • Excellent communicator who is able to confidently deal with internal and external business contacts at all levels. Able to find solutions for customers and business needs.
  • Team player who is able to take responsibility and be accountable for their own workload and results. The ability to work with others to effectively achieve company goals and revenue targets. Results-oriented.
  • Hard-working, positive can-do attitude.
