Construction / expansion joints

Construction joints and expansion joints can form weak points in any waterproofing system. For this reason, Safeguard supply several products from the Drybase and Vandex range designed to offer additional protection in these vulnerable areas:

• Vandex Expaseal expanding waterstop offers the most conventional method of sealing construction joints.
• Drybase Construction Joint Tape offers a more novel approach to the problem. The product is simply applied over the construction joint with Drybase Elasticised Tanking Slurry used as an adhesive/waterproofer.
• Vandex Flextape is the favoured solution where expansion joints or movement joints need to be sealed.
• Vandex Uniflex Sealants / Adhesives – used as adhesives for Vandex Expaseal and Vandex Flextape, but also have sealing applications in their own right.
