Roxil Wood Cream Shortlisted as Finalist in Trada ‐ TTJ Timber Innovation Awards
Roxil Wood Protection Cream has recently be shortlisted as a finalist in the Innovative Product Development Category of the 22nd annual TTJ Timber Innovation Awards. The purpose of the award is to recognise innovative product developments that can have a large impact on the timber sector of the construction industry.
Wood Waterproofing Innovation
Roxil Wood Protection Cream, which has been entirely developed and manufactured by us here at Safeguard, was chosen as a finalist because of its innovative silane/siloxane cream formulation. Compared to traditional liquid wood waterproofers, a greater and more even spread of the cream can be applied to the wood surface.
Single Coat – 10 Year Protection
The cream format means that the penetration depth is greater and a single-coat application can weatherproof softwood and weathered hardwood for 10 years. This can slow discolouration, reduce moss & mould growth and reduce warping of wood, extending the effective lifetime of Roxil treated wooden structures.
Roxil – TTJ Timber Innovation Awards
Following a presentation by each of the finalists to the panel of judges, the winner of this highly coveted award will be announced at the awards ceremony on the 21st September at the InterContinental in Park Lane, London.
