Vandex Expaseal Expanding Waterstop

Safeguard Europe Ltd distribute Vandex Expaseal expanding waterstop. Vandex Expaseal is suitable for all construction joints subject to hydrostatic pressure. All joints to be waterproofed with Vandex Expaseal must be clean and free of surface water and sharp protrusions. The installation of Vandex Expaseal can be carried-out on damp surfaces. Vandex Expaseal is resistant to most form release products.

For joint widths of 20 – 40 cm, Vandex Expaseal is fixed in the middle of the joint. As a precaution, thicker walls can be fitted with two Vandex Expaseal waterstops. Vandex Expaseal is set into the joint with Vandex Uniflex Adhesive or mechanically fixed in the construction with nails (4 – 5 per linear metre). Consult Safeguard Europe Ltd technical literature for details. Safeguard Europe Ltd can also provide a design and specification service and it is recommended that they are consulted early in the design process.
