Soluguard Woodworm Treatment Concentrate (HSE No. 8152)
Soluguard Woodworm Treatment Concentrate is a high-strength treatment for dealing with woodworm infestations. It is supplied in water soluble-sachets that are added to water (preferably warm water) and allowed to dissolve. Because it is supplied in water-soluble sachets, human exposure to the concentrate product is avoided and there are no used plastic bottles to dispose of.
Soluguard Woodworm Treatment Concentrate contains permethrin as its active ingredient. This has been selected because it has proven effectiveness against all lifecycle stages of common woodworm species (eggs, larvae, and adult beetles). Once diluted, Soluguard Woodworm Treatment Concentrate contains 0.2% permethrin - double the strength of many competing products. Due to its microemulsion formulation Soluguard Woodworm Treatment Concentrate benefits from enhanced penetration into timber - providing a deeper protective envelope compared with standard emulsion woodworm treatments.
Product benefits include:
- Full strength formulation (0.2% permethrin once diluted)
- Solvent-free (non-flammable, no VOCs, low odour)
- Highly concentrated (each pack makes 25 litres)
- Water soluble sachets (accurate dosing, less waste)
- Extremely stable once mixed (no separation - uniform, even treatment)
- Targets all lifecycle stages (eggs, larvae, and adult beetles)
- Applied by brush, spray, or dip
Each pack of Soluguard Woodworm Treatment Concentrate contains five water-soluble sachets - enough to make 25 litres of woodworm treatment which will treat 75-100m2 of timber.
Diluted Soluguard Woodworm Treatment Concentrate can be applied by brush or low-pressure spray.
