Vandex Quickbinder

Vandex Quickbinder is an alkaline liquid which accelerates the setting of Vandex Super. It is dilutable and does not contain chlorides or solvents.

Mixes of Vandex Quickbinder and Vandex Super are particularly suitable for stopping water penetration – even under pressure – in structures made of concrete, block, or brick. Uses include:

• Curing of general water penetration
• Curing of leaking construction joints
• Plugging of severe leaks through cracks, joints, formtie holes, etc…

The setting time when using Vandex Quickbinder with Vandex Super is approximately 1 minute at 20°C. When using diluted Quickbinder (one part Quickbinder to one part water by volume) the setting time is approximately three minutes at 20°C.

Vandex Quickbinder is formulated specifically as an accelerating agent for Vandex Super. For the acceleration of Portland Cement, Vandex Accelerator should be used.
