Job Description 

Safeguard Europe is looking for a motivated and diligent Production Supervisor to lead the late shift team, Monday to Friday 1:30pm -10pm.   The successful applicant should be conscientious, with attention to detail and willing to lead, guide and support a team of operatives. The right candidate will be willing and able to ensure the safe and efficient production, labelling and packaging of products. Support in the planning of production schedules ensuring business demands are met. They will have awareness and sound judgement about the surrounding work environment to comply with health and safety regulations. Prior experience in a production environment, working with chemicals, and working to formulations is a must.  Prior experience in a fast past environment as well as a fork lift licence is desirable. 

Duties 

  • Supervise production operatives
  • Produce batches of product for filling to specification
  • Fill batches to standard and maintain quality
  • Run and oversee filling, labelling and packing machinery
  • Produce batch sheets in line with procedure
  • Abide by all health and safety policies and regulations
  • Support in the planning of production 

Skills and Experience Required 

  • Previous production and warehouse experience  
  • Working to formulations 
  • Working with chemicals 
  • Supervisor experience 
  • Manual handling
  • Forklift licence (desirable) 
  • First Aid at Work certificate 
  • Fire Marshal certificate (desirable)
