Job Description 

Safeguard Europe is looking for a motivated and diligent Yard Person. The right candidate is an experienced Forklift driver either with a Flexi/Bendi licence or willing to train. They will be responsible for uploading and unloading carriers and the process of inwards and outwards of goods, along with the movement of stock to support production lines. They will keep the yard areas clean and tidy whilst abiding by all health and safety requirements. Prior experience in a fast-paced environment is essential. 

Duties 

• The safe and appropriate use of forklift vehicles 
• Loading and unloading carriers 
• Moving and storing of stock
• Keeping all yard areas clean and tidy at all times

Skills and Experience Required 

• Forklift licence (essential) 
• Flexi/Bendi Forklift licence (desirable, training given to the right candidate) 
• Previous experience as a yard person (essential) 
• Previous experience working in a warehouse and production environment (desirable) 
• Manual handling
